SMTP Account Setting Guidelines
Email Verification
In order to prevent spam sign-ups we have enabled
email verification, from 27th Sept 2011 onwards user/reseller must
validate their email address in order to use our services. Upon sign up user
will get an email with a link to verify their email address, once user clicked
the link it will be re-directed to another page where user can set their own choice
of password. Forget password link work same as above.
Note : From 27th Sept 2011
onwards new users will get login details via email and only confirmation message
will be send via SMS
Alert Email’s
Apart from SMS alert all alert messages such as new
user registration, sender id approval, credit/debit transaction will be send to
the corresponding users email address as alert email.
Configuring SMTP for Outgoing
Emails
As we have enabled email verification all resellers
are requested to configure SMTP for Outgoing Email’s which ensures the smooth
delivery of alert emails right into customer’s inbox.
Note : Your mail password & other
details are stored in encrypted format.
Configuration of SMTP
Go to Administrator –> Settings –> Email Settings
Configuration of SMTP requires following parameters
Host : SMTP Server domain/Connecting IP
Username : Email Address (which will be used as from
email address)
Password : Password of the email address
Port : Which port to be used (25, 465 or 587)
Once you filled the forms with all required fields
Click “Add” and the system will validate your settings and give the status of
your SMTP Account.

If your email service provider is not listed above
then please contact your email service provider.
Note : If SMTP is not configured we use ‘phpmail’
function to send emails, its highly recommended you to configure SMTP for
outgoing emails.
